Nicki has been a part of the Coppergate team since February 2022.
Prior to joining us, she worked for ten years on the ward at Selby War Memorial Hospital and also worked at York Hospital for 23 years, meaning overall she has spent a very impressive 33 years working in the NHS. Initially starting in the breast cancer unit, she then moved to work in urology, breast, and general surgery theatres.
At Coppergate, Nicki’s role involves assisting in theatre and comforting patients throughout their procedures. It goes without saying that Nicki has a lot of experience in her field and as a result she often receives feedback from patients thanking her for her reassuring presence during their time here.
On weekends she enjoys going on walks in the nearby countryside and beaches and spending time with her grandchildren.
