Sensitive Skin

Many people struggle with sensitive skin, but this term itself is not an official medical diagnosis. Instead, the term typically refers to skin that is prone to inflammation or reactions in comparison to other skin types. If you suffer from sensitive skin, it is likely that your skin reacts to dyes, fragrances, and chemicals that are present in skin care products.

Whilst it is possible to have sensitive skin without any underlying health conditions, allergic reactions, contact dermatitis, eczema, rosacea and photodermatoses are just some of the medical diagnoses that can cause sensitive skin.
